Despite the release of the date sheet, students are perplexed due to present scenario of coronavirus, many questions are coming up in their mind. But, don't worry, we are here to help you.

Now you can prepare for your examination with ease by just following certain tips:

* 70/30 Formula: Make use of 70/30 formula as much as you can. Students' primary area of focus must be the difficult subjects, devote 70 per cent of your concentration on it. While keep 30 per cent focus on easy topics and keep revising them time and again.

* Include easy learning method: Students need to organise their study pattern amid tough times of pandemic. Students must make use of easy learning methods, stress more on self-study. Divide your chapters or units into small segments. Devote your time as per the requirement of the topic (tough/easy).

* Focus on writing: Many students have stopped writing/making notes during the lockdown, but, this won't help you to get a good score in the examination. You must keep practising to maintain writing speed in free time. Try to solve old question papers, indulge yourself in creative writing.

* Keep on revising old topics: Don't take a chance to skip revision of old topics. Keep paying attention to old/ already learnt topics frequently. During this time, you can also solve the previous years' question papers which will help you in an easy recapitulation of content.

* Time management: According to experts, morning time is best for studies/gaining knowledge, try to study more at this time. Students should schedule and limit their sleep. Apart from the prescribed subjects/courses, develop a habit of reading additional books.

* Role of the family: Experts also give responsibility to the family members for better preparation of the children's exam. The family must create an atmosphere for studying at home. A good environment is all you need for a good/focused study. Parents must talk to children about their plans/goals/aims except 'corona.'

* Mend your lifestyle: A sound mind lives in a sound body. Children should bring little changes in their lifestyle, try to get up early in the morning, exercise or meditate and if possible, find some time for prayer/offerings. A good diet is required for good studies, include a healthy and nutritious diet.

* Surround yourself with positive people: Students should try to think good, bypass all bad news. Take the delay in the examination positively, you have got more time than others to prepare for the exams. Parents must also try to boost the mood of their ward to keep them at bay from stress.

* Future planning: This is a very important aspect which you should not ignore while studying. Students must think about their future in free time, plan your targets/goals. Think about the college you want to enrol in after the exam? How would you get admission there? What would be your subjects?

* Indoor games: Coronavirus induced lockdown don't provide you with much opportunities to go out and play. In such a situation, to relax your mind after studying opt for indoor games. Plan your day-long routine better.

What would be the effect of delay in the exam?

According to an expert, when a long gap comes in any exam, the result is affected. However, students who are lagging in preparation have a chance to come forward. At the same time, the results of students who have done better preparation before can be a bit spoiled. Nevertheless, children are getting a good time due to lockdown/holidays and this will not affect their performance.
