The legendary and one of the greatest action heroes of all time, Tom Cruise has shared a video for his fans while shooting for Top Gun: Dead Reckoning Part 1 and 2 from South Africa, where the Hollywood star can be seen jumping off the plane in a bid to thank his millions of fans around the world for supporting his latest, ‘Top Gun: Maverick’ ensuring the movie’s grand success worldwide. The film was one of the highest-grossing films for 2022, with Cruise receiving immense love.

TOM CRUISE SPECIAL MESSAGE FOR FANS:

Jumping off the plane, Cruise records a message which says, “Hey everyone, here we are over stunning South Africa, and we’re filming ‘Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning” parts one and two. I didn’t want the year to end without thanking you all for coming out to the theatres and thank you for supporting ‘Top Gun: Maverick.'”

After his daredevilry act, the camera pans to reveal the movie’s writer Christopher McQuarrie, who returns to direct the upcoming film and co-wrote Maverick. The director-writer also spoke to thank the fans for showing their immense support and shouted over his lead actor Cruise, “Hey, listen, we really have got to roll. We’ve got to get this shot.”

Cruise reacted to this by jumping off the plane and shared, “As always, thank you for allowing us to entertain you. It truly is the honor of a lifetime. I’m running out of altitude, so I’ve got to get back to work. We’ve got to get this shot. Have a very safe and happy holiday. We’ll see you at the movies.”

Top Gun: Maverick earned nearly $1.4 billion worldwide. The new film Dead Reckoning Part One will mark the return of many veterans of the franchise including Simon Pegg, Rebecca Ferguson, and Henry Czerny.

Based on the reports available, Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part One will be released in theatres on July 14th, 2023, while its sequel Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part Two is currently scheduled to be released on June 28, 2024.
