World Health Organization (WHO) received flak after it couldn't prevent the spread of Covid-19 contagion. The team sent by WHO to unearth or trace the origins of Covid-19 is expected to complete its quarantine period today, Thursday.

The team is expected to leave the hotel where it was staying. Reports are rife that the team will start doing fieldwork once it leaves the hotel. The Covid-19 is reported to have emerged in Wuhan, China. Many people have termed it a Chinese virus with many conspiracy theories surfacing in online environment.

Delays due to bickering between China and United States have cost much to the world because the Covid-19 cases have surpassed 100 million mark globally. India is one of the worst affected countries with US topping the charts.

One of the team members of WHO team tweeted, " Day 14 of our quarantine in Wuhan!! Slightly sad to say goodbye to my “gym” & my “office” where I’ve been holed up for last 2 wks!! (Clue - It’s all in the same room...). Moving into next phase of work now w/ @WHO mission team & China counterparts."

WHO emergency chief Mike Ryam has told the reporters earlier, " There are no guarantees of answers." "It is a difficult task to fully establish the origins and sometimes it can take two or three or four attempts to be able to do that in different settings." He was quoted as saying by Reuters news agency.
