A major tragedy was averted when a woman trying to jump off Vashi Bridge in Navi Mumbai was saved by traffic policemen. The woman who looked quite upset and distressed in the viral video was about to jump into the water from Vashi Bridge in front of the whole public. However, traffic cops present at the spot acted with their presence of mind and pulled out to safety moments before she was about to leave her hand and jump into the water. As per reports, the traffic cop who saved the woman are identified as Shivajirao Bachre, Raju Dandekar, Rathod, and Tambe. When they noticed the upset woman standing on the edge of the Vashi bridge, they came into action, determined to save her life at any cost. In dramatic visuals captured during the rescue operation, the policemen can be seen cautiously approaching the distressed woman, their voices calm and reassuring, asking her to talk to them about what happened.

After seeing the woman's attention somewhere else, one of the cops rushed and grabbed the woman's arm from jumping into the Thane creek. Then another cop came and the two cops pulled out the woman out to safety. As the girl was safely taken to a more secure area, she was visibly emotional and was heard crying. The police handled the situation with utmost care, asking the bystanders to maintain a safe distance to avoid any further distress to the woman.
