A cylinder exploded in a house in Lamba Pind today, killing two members of the same family. A gas pipe leaked in a house near a rural government school, causing the accident. A father and son were killed in the accident, while two family members were critically injured. Among the dead, the child is just a year and a half old. People rushed the injured to the hospital, where they are being treated.

According to the information, last night the family cooked food and went to sleep but gas kept leaking from the cylinder throughout the night. When woke up in the morning and lit a match to light the gas stove, there was an explosion and the house caught fire. Raj Kumar, a resident of Bhagalpur (Bihar) and his one and a half year old child died in the accident. At the sound of the explosion, the people of village gathered and saw that all the people of the house were lying unconscious with injuries. The homeowner died on the spot. People immediately informed the ambulance and rushed the injured to the hospital. One child died on the way while the woman and her two children were being rushed to hospital in critical condition.

A team of police officers reached the spot. The team is investigating the cause of the blast. At the moment, only the case of cylinder blast is coming to light. The accident happened due to a pipe leak. According to sources, the family is originally from Bihar and had come to live in a long village a few days back.
