Parineeti Chopra's next film, Saina, is set to be released soon. The film is based on the life of badminton champion Saina Nehwal, and Parineeti's latest photo shows that she has almost nailed the role.
On International Women's Day, Parineeti released the trailer for the sports drama. The nearly two-minute trailer depicted a girl from a small village in Haryana who aspired to be the world's best badminton player, and how her parents assisted her in realizing her ambition. The trailer then switches its attention to showcasing her struggles before returning to the game full force and proving herself to be an exceptional player.
Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar, Sujay Jayraj, and Rajesh Shah are producing Saina, which was written and directed by Amole Gupte. The film will be released in theaters on March 26.
