Triple murder case jolts Ludhiana; Mother-Son & daughter-in-law's dead bodies found in pool of blood in house

In a shocking development, a triple murder case came to the limelight in Punjab's Ludhiana on Friday. As per reports, three dead bodies of the same family members were found at their house in New Janakpuri, Salem Tabri area in Ludhiana. A man, his wife, and his elderly mother were found dead at their residence by the Police. All the deceased have been identified as Chamal Lal, (70), his wife Surinder Kaur (65) and his mother Bibi Jeeto (95). As per the Police, Chamal and Surinder have four sons who are settled abroad. As per initial information, the matter came to light when a milkman did not get any response from the family and therefore he raised an alarm by urging locals to inquire.

Ludhiana's Joint Commissioner of Police, Saumya Mishra was quoted saying that the main entrance of the house was closed while the door of the room, where the bodies were found was found opened.She emphasized that the prima facie does not indicate of a crime for loot or break-in, but the Police are currently verifying all angles and not ruling out anything of now. Notably, the three bodies were found lying in a pool of blood at the house and as per initial investigation, it seemed that all the deceased have sustained head injuries.

Saumya Mishra further informed that teams have been formed by police officers. In the infamous house, LPG gas was also smelling at the crime scene. Soon the accused will be arrested. It would not be correct to say how many days ago the murder took place. Something can be said only after investigation. As of now, the bodies have been sent for postmortem.
