Indo-Pak tension Air Strike US President

US President Donald Trump has spoken on the Indo-Pak tension stating that "we have some reasonably decent news from India and Pakistan" while addressing a press conference in Hanoi hoping a de-escalation in the hostilities after an aerial combat between India and Pakistan Air Forces.

"Hopefully that'll be coming to an end," said the US President.

Earlier, the US along with other world leaders had urged India and Pakistan to "cease all cross-border military activity" and "take immediate steps to de-escalate the situation, including through direct communication".

The United States also underlined that Pakistan must abide by its commitments to the UNSC to not provide a 'breeding ground' to the terrorism and block their access to funds.

The statement by the US President had referred to the Pulwama Terror Attack in which more than 40 soldiers had been martyred of which the Pakistan based militant outfit Jaish-e-Mohammad took responsibility.
