The case linked to Jalandhar central MLA Raman Arora has come up with a major twist since he is already put under judicial custody after his arrest by the Vigilance Department due to corruption charges.

Official sources have revealed that the legal team of Arora has made a new request that demands immediate health care for the legislator. The supporters Arti Malhotra, Darshan Singh Dayal and Naveen Chaddha filed a Criminal Miscellaneous (CRM) petition in the court of Additional Sessions Judge-cum-Duty Judge Dr. Deepti Gupta.

The petition identified that Raman Arora is experiencing gallstones and he is experiencing abdominal pains that are causing intense pain. His attorneys are seeking the authority of the court to approve the proper medical care, either in the jail hospital or at the external medical institution, in case of the need.
