The Enforcement Directorate (ED) revelations have shifted the focus of the world from Rhea Chakraborty to Ankita Lokhande in Sushant Singh Rajput's case. Recently the Enforcement Department (ED) said that the late actor was paying installments for a flat worth Rs 4.5 crore located in Malad, Mumbai. The flat was allegedly used by actress and Sushant's ex-girlfriend Ankita Lokhande.
After the news went viral Ankita shared the flat's registration document and her bank statements to prove it was her who was paying her flat's EMI not Sushant. Now India Today has published an article in which the organization has claimed to cross-check the documents shared by Ankita.
Going by the reports of India Today, Sushant Singh Rajput and Ankita Lokhande had two different flats registered in their respective names at Malad's Interface Heights society. Ankita currently use her flat. As per the elite news organization, the sellers of the said two flats were two different people. The nameplates on the entrance of the building mentions two different flats under the names of Sushant Singh Rajput and Ankita Lokhande.
Sushant Singh Rajput and Ankita Lokhande were in a live-in relationship in 2013. They moved in together in the flats. Each flat costed Rs 1 crore at the time the actors bought them. They were allotted two different car parking in sequence of their flats. Sushant took flat 403 in this building with the car parking 040. The car parking has a carpet area of 683 square feet. Ankita, on the other hand, took 404, adjacent to Sushant's flat, and was given parking 041.

At the time when they bought the flats, Sushant and Ankita were living together in Andheri. On May 10, 2013, Sushant bought his flat from Prashant and Mansi Gupta, while Ankita bought her flat from Savitri Devi Gupta. Both the flats were registered together on same day. Sushant and Ankita lived in these flats till 2016. After they broke up in 2016, Sushant moved out of the flat and started living in Bandra, while Ankita continued to live in the same flat.
If reports are to be true, then the ED have to probe Sushant's case from a whole new different angle. However, the ED sources has refused to comment anything on the girl's name.
