The United States on Monday witnessed the much-awaited Solar Eclipse 2024. From the US President Biden to the common people, almost entire North America participated in the once-in-a-lifetime celestial spectacle. The 2024 Solar Eclipse was visible in Mexico, Canada, and the United States. The path of totality, a tiny area where the Moon completely obscures the Sun, crossed across cities and sent the United States into a frenzy. Talking about frenzy, a video surfaced on X claiming to be from Arlington City in Texas. Netizens claimed that they spotted a UFO during the 2024 Solar Eclipse.
As a result, the Arlington City UFO video started to trend on X. In the viral Arlington City Solar Eclipse 2024 video, a plane-like shadow appeared to be passing the path of the sun when the eclipse was reaching its full phase. The video was shared with the caption, "A new video just surfaced of the UFO spotted over Arlington Texas during the solar eclipse today and people are freaking out because it seems to disappear into the clouds ."
After seeing the video, many gave their opinion and pointed out that the shadow might be of an aeroplane flying above the clouds rather than a UFO. A user wrote, "Shadow on the clouds from an higher altitude airplane. I have seen this many times as an aviation spotter."
Another user wrote, "It’s an airliner’s shadow on the cloud. It disappears when it passes into clear air. Airplane shadows stay the same size as the airplane because the light source (sun) is so far away. It happened before totality."
