Bigg Boss OTT and social media influencer Uorfi Javed has finally broken her silence on reports that she was detained by authorities in Dubai for allegedly shooting in 'revealing clothes' in the public. Uorfi Javed in her statement accepted that Dubai Police arrived at her place of shoot, however, rubbished the reports saying that she was detained because of her 'revealing clothes'. On Wednesday it was reported that Uorfi Javed, who was on a trip to the UAE, has reportedly been detained in Dubai for allegedly shooting a video wearing a 'revealing outfit' in public, which is not allowed in the country. Not only this, Uorfi was also questioned by the Dubai Police.

'Uorfi Javed detained'

Uorfi Javed was quoted by multiple media organizations saying that the Dubai Police arrived to stop the shoot at the location due to other reasons and not because of her clothes. "The police had arrived to stop the shoot because of some issues at the location. There was a time till when we were allowed to shoot as it was a public place, the production team didn't extend the timing , hence we had to leave. It had nothing to do with my clothes at all. We shot the remaining part the next day so it was all sorted," said Uorfi Javed.

The Bigg Boss OTT fame model had recently flown to the United Arab Emirates, reportedly, for the shoot of her upcoming projects, and has been there for more than a week. She has been sharing videos and pictures from her trip, wearing a range of unconventional outfits. However, as per a new report, Uorfi was being questioned by local police in Dubai after she filmed a video ‘in an open area’ wearing something that was not ‘allowed’ to be shot in public. It is pertinent to mention here that reports point out that there was ‘no problem’ in Uorfi’s outfit, however, because she shot the video in an open area, she was being interrogated by authorities in Dubai It added that the local authorities in the UAE might postpone Uorfi’s return ticket to India.

Uorfi was recently seen on the dating reality show Splitsvilla X4, hosted by actors Sunny Leone and Arjun Bijlani. Last month, Uorfi was grabbed the headline after author Chetan Bhagat said that the youth of this country, especially boys, were getting distracted by her. She had responded to Chetan’s remark, by calling him a 'pervert', and had also shared screenshots of Chetan's alleged WhatsApp messages that were leaked in 2018, during the MeToo movement.
