Lucknow, Jan 4: Uttar Pradesh government has preponed the Uttar Pradesh Higher Judicial Services preliminary exam for the appointment of direct recruitment to UP Higher Judicial Services - 2018 on January 13. The decision has been taken taking in consideration the Kumbh Mela at Prayagraj.
Earlier, the examination was scheduled to be held on February 3 but as Prayagraj would be holding Kumbh mela at that time, the exam has been preponed.
An official statement here, on Friday, said that the decision to prepone the examination was taken on the direction of the Allahabad High Court, which passed an order in this effect on November 15 last.
