Bollywood ace actress and former Congress leader Urmila Matondkar is all set to start a new inning with Maharashtra's ruling party Shiv Sena. Going by the reports of News Nation, she will get a Legislative Council ticket from Shiv Sena quota. If sources are to be believed, Urmila Matondkar can be made MLC on the Shiv Sena ticket from the quota appointed by the governor.

If reports are to be true, Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray himself has spoken to Urmila Matondkar on phone. In the Lok Sabha elections, Urmila Matondkar has contested the election of MP from North Mumbai on a Congress ticket. Recently, Urmila Matondkar took on Kangana in a fight between Kangana Ranaut and the Maharashtra government.

Urmila had allegedly called Kangana Ranaut Rudali and prostitute. However, the actress later said that she called Kangana ‘Rudaali’ in a certain context. She further adds that if it hurts the latter and her fans, then she is sorry for the same.

Urmila then highlighted the fact of how the film industry gave a beautiful career, but she has nothing good to say about it.

As a response, Kangana had compared Urmilla with 'soft-pornstar'. Following this, Kangana was widely criticized on social media and even by many Bollywood celebrities.
