US deadly blizzard: New York becomes the most affected city, death toll reaches 50

While the New Year week celebration all around the world has just begun, United Stated on 25th December 2022 faced a white storm and it was so brutal that it left almost 34 people dead on the first two days. Along with this almost 1.7 million people were left without any supply of electricity.

Reportedly, as for now the temperature in the US is approximately -50 degree and it a freezing situation for the people living there. While all the cities have been hit badly by the snow storm, the most happening city of Us i.e. New York has got buried under 28 inches of snow and nothing else. As per information till now 50 people have dies due to the snowstorm. The rescue team reveals that till now death toll has reached 50 and might increase as they are still discovering dead bodies buried inside snow. While some people died due to exposure to such an extreme weather other died due to suffocation. Reportedly, the most severe blizzard was reported in western New York's Buffalo.

The Governor of New York revealed that the country is fighting a war with the nature. Cathy further added that going out in a weather like this is similar to fighting in a war. Describing the situation, Cathy Houchal said, “Vehicles are stuck on both sides of the road and it is really scary. This weather condition as dangerous and life-threatening. I request everyone to stay indoors and not go out at any cost.

As per the weather experts, this is the worst winter storm to hit the greater Buffalo area since a devastating blizzard in 1977, which went on for four days and claimed nearly 30 lives.
