Donald-Trump Impeachment US-Capitol-Violence

The US Justice Department has indicated that it might press charges against President Donald Trump for provoking his supporters, who attacked the US Capitol, broke into barricades, rioted through the corridors and vandalised property in an attempt to prevent Joe Biden’s confirmation as the next president of America.

According to the New York Times, the US attorney in Washington told reporters, “We are looking at all actors, not only the people who went into the building”.

On being asked if “all actors” would also add President Trump himself, who was seen giving provocative speeches just before his supporters invaded the US Capitol, Sherwin said, “We’re looking at all actors”.

“If the evidence fits the elements of a crime, they’re going to be charged,” he added.

Despite the pro-Trump crowd set an onslaught onto the Capitol building, the president was seen saying, "We love you. You're very special" in a video that he tweeted and urged them to go home after they broke into the Capitol.
