Paytm, a leading fintech company, has announced a job opening for the position of Team Leader. The selected candidates will be responsible for sales and operations within the oil and gas vertical, encompassing electricity, oil, petrol-diesel, and gas stations.
Role and Responsibilities:
The role involves devising plans and strategies to expand the business and achieve the company's sales targets, fostering a culture of success, and managing sales teams, operations, and resources to drive growth. This includes defining the optimal sales force structure, recruiting and developing sales staff, engaging with merchants to promote the benefits of swipe machines (EDC), and coordinating sales training programs. Additionally, the candidate will be responsible for managing customer expectations, defining sales processes, and identifying areas for improvement.
Educational Qualification:
Applicants must hold a graduate degree.
Experience:
Candidates applying for this position should possess over 4 years of experience, with a background in distribution sales in EDC or Fintech sales, as well as experience in sales and similar roles, and in the loyalty business.
Required Skills:
The ideal candidate should possess strong communication and leadership skills, with knowledge of Excel being beneficial but not mandatory. They should be self-motivated, capable of engaging internal and external stakeholders, understanding technology and user experience, and maintaining a growth mindset. Additionally, they should be inclined towards continuous experimentation and improvement.
Salary Structure:
According to reports, the annual salary for a team leader at Paytm can range from Rs 2 lakh to Rs 8 lakh.
