Bollywood actors Vicky Kaushal and Kiara Advani on Thursday appeared on the latest episode of Koffee with Karan Season 8. Both Vicky and Kiara revealed some unknown facts and hidden truths about their partners Katrina Kaif and Sidharth Malhotra respectively. Interestingly, both Kiara and Vicky revealed how they proposed to their partners before marriage. Amid the deep conversation, Vicky Kaushal also revealed what he gifted Katrina Kaif on their first wedding anniversary.
When Karan Johar asked whether anyone faked liking something just for the sake of their partners, Vicky answered, "I have never understood art. She (Katrina) is fond of it. So, my first-anniversary gift to her was a piece of art. And I have never really understood it."
Karan Johar then asked, "But you didn't understand what you bought then. You consulted?"
Vicky answered, "No, then eventually yes. It was a process, where first I was like..huh..? Because those things are expensive. I was like, I will go and hang myself there. No, but then she made me ease into it. She showed me a lot of things and then I genuinely kind of got into it. Then we got something that spoke to us. Now, that wall is like my favorite wall in the house."
How did Vicky Kaushal propose to Katrina Kaif?
After Kiara Advani revealed how Sidharth Malhotra proposed to her in Rome, Vicky was asked the same question by Karan Johar. After that, Vicky revealed, "It was dramatic but it was not so well-planned. It was very last minute. I had been warned by everybody that if you don't propose, it's something you have to be prepared for the rest of your life that you got to hear about it."
Kiara then tried to cheer up Vicky and said, "He (Sidharth Malhotra) only did that because he had to hear those same lines from others." Vicky then shockingly reveals, "I did that just one day before the wedding."
