Waris Punjab De Chief Amritpal Singh is still far away from Punjab Police’s grasp. The manhunt against the Pro-Khalistan leader has entered in the 7th day, IGP Punjab Sukhchain Singh Gill made shocking revelations about Amritpal Singh and his militia Anandpur Khalsa Fauj. During the briefing, Gill outlined the arrest of Amritpal Singh's gunman/aide Tajinder singh alias Gorkha Baba and stated that many anti-national materials have been recovered from his phone including pictures of an alleged firing range being constructed in Jallupur Khera.
Reportedly, Amritpal Singh who came from Dubai and announced himself as Waris Punjab De Chief, an organization started by Deep Sidhu was building his own organization called AKF (Anandpur Khalsa Fauj). Amritpal Singh contacted various Ex-servicemen who were no more part of the Army to train the youth in the usage of weapons. Apart from this, he also built a firing range in his village where Amritpal Singh’s followers used to practice the use of weapons.
The video that has gone viral shows, various followers of Amritpal Singh, using rifles and other weapons and practicing shooting in the firing range constructed. As per information, Amritpal Singh allegedly made a firing range near his village Jallupur Khera for practice, where the people of AKF were getting trained by ex-servicemen to use modern weapons. All these pictures and videos have been retrieved from Amritpal Singh’s close associate Tajinder Singh Gill who was arrested from Khanna yesterday.
For the unversed, Khanna Police registered one more FIR wherein Tajinder Singh Gill has been arrested, who is a close associate of Amritpal Singh. Arms Act has also been invoked in this case. Police stated, “we analysed his phone. It yielded incriminating material which is anti-national material including firing practices and some logos of Anandpur Khalsa Fauj. Practice to fire weapons, assemble weapons, display of weapons and many other footages have been recovered from his phone. Apart from all these things many incriminating materials have been recoreved which show that they were involved in anti-national acts.”
