Udaipur Murder case video: The killers who brutally murdered Tailor Kanhaiya Lal, a tailor in Udaipur, have been caught by the police from Rajsamand. Both the culprits were escaping on a motorcycle after committing the cowardly act. After the incident, there was a blockade in the entire area, from which both were trying to escape. In a video clip, Akhtari declared that they had "beheaded" the man and went on to threaten Prime Minister Narendra Modi, saying their knife will get him as well. Indirectly, the assailants also referred to Nupur Sharma, the BJP leader suspended from the party over a remark on Prophet Mohammad.
Rajasthan CM and Congress leader Ashok Gehlot condemned the gruesome Udaipur murder case and also asked PM Modi to address the nation. "It's a sad & shameful incident. There's a tense atmosphere in the nation today. Why don't PM & Amit Shah Ji address the nation? There is tension among people. PM should address the public and say that such violence won't be tolerated & appeal for peace," said Ashok Gehlot."
Udaipur beheading case developments: Reportedly, Internet services have been temporarily suspended for the next 24 hours in the Udaipur district. Also, a statewide alert has been issued to all SPs & IGs to increase the mobility of forces and to maintain officers on the ground. We're assessing the law and order situation to take further decisions. As per ADG Udaipur, two ADGPs from Jaipur, one more SP, and 600 additional police forces have been sent to Udaipur.
