Video of elephants playing football is going viral online and it is the most wholesome thing you will see on the internet today. Yesterday a group of elephants in Karnataka were spotted playing football in an open field and amusing the tourists present there.
The elephants had taken part in the parade during Mysore Dasara (Dussehra) festival and were recently shifted to Dubare Elephant Camp in Kodagu district. It was there that the animals were trained to play the game.
According to sources, the jumbos were trained to play football after they were shifted to Dubare Elephant Camp. Dubare Elephant Camp is a project undertaken by the Forest Department and Jungle Lodges and Resorts Ltd.
