Notably, this is not the first time that the Ed-tech platform PhysicsWallah is in controversy as the teacher in the video is believed to be part of the company. Physics Wallah was founded in 2016 by Alakh Pandey, an educator from Allahabad, Uttar Pradesh. First, it was founded as an EdTech platform, however, soon it also spread it swings in online coaching.
