In the latest development, Punjab Vigilance Bureau has issued a look-out notice against former Punjab CM Charanjit Singh Channi in regard to the disproportionate assets case. Vigilance Bureau started investigation over CM Channi’s case and based on evidence look out circular has been issued. Reportedly, Channi was planning to visit California but was stopped due to look out notice.
As per information, the investigation against former Punjab CM Charanjit Singh Channi was started by the Vigilance Bureau in a disproportionate assets case. Apart from this, CM Mann also accused Channi of government machinery for personal purposes while he was the Chief Minister of state. Post this, many other leaders are also on Vigilance’s radar such as Gurpreet Kangar, Balveer Sidhu, Manpreet Badal and many others.
Reportedly, Charanjit Singh Channi was going to California to attend Guru Ravidas Ji’s program that is held in temple built in Sacramento. In that temple, Nagar Kirtan is carried out every year and this time Channi was invited to witness the same. Chanranjit Singh Channi stated that he himself got the ticket cancelled otherwise government would have said that he fled to abroad fearing arrest.
