In a major development, the Punjab Government on Wednesday transferred 6 IAS officers and 1 PCS officer in a significant administrative reshuffle. Department of Personnel (IAS Branch) of the Punjab Government issued a notification in which it ordered the immediate posting and transfer of several senior IAS and PCS officers.
In the latest rejig, 2008-batch IAS officer Vinay Bublani has now been posted as Commissioner of the Patiala Division in place of Daljit Singh Mangat. Before this, IAS officer Vinay Bublani was posted as Secretary, School Education, and in addition, Director General, School Education.
Furthermore, 2011-batch IAS officer Girish Dalyan, who was available for posting, will now handle the post of Director General, School Education. 2014-batch IAS officer Jitender Jorwal who was also available for posting, has now been posted as Additional Commissioner (Excise), Patiala.
