
In the outrage against Kashmiris across the country post the Pulwama Terror Attack, one more case of attack on two Kashmiri dry fruit vendors by some right wing fringe workers in Lucknow has surfaced on Thursday. Police has arrested four of the attackers after the video of Kashmiri Vendors went viral on the internet.
The Kashmiri vendors are seen sitting on the roadside when some men in saffron clothes start beating them. The vendors are also seen trying to save their heads and pleading in front of the attackers to stop.
The vendors have been identified as Mohammed Afzal Naik and Abdul Salaam who had been rescued by the locals who stopped the attackers advising them to not take the law in their own hands.
"These men just descended on us. They started beating us and calling us terrorists. We have been coming 20 years. Something like this has never happened with us before," said one of the victims while interacting with media reporters.
"They said we are terrorists. We were told that we sell items here and throw stones there. They started thrashing us. They asked for our Aadhaar cards," he added.
The attackers have been identified as the followers of the Vishwa Hindu Dal, with Himanshu Awasthi as their group President
