According to some sources, a woman lawyer was brutally slapped and kicked by a guy near Vinayak Nagar in Bagalkote district of Karnataka on Saturday afternoon in a horrific assault and flagrant disdain for the law. Sangeetha, a lawyer, was assaulted by her next-door neighbor Mahantesh, who has now been detained, according to police.
The entire situation was recorded, and it shows Manthesh beating Sangeetha with anger and force. The woman was driven back by his slaps, and he also kicked her in the stomach. The man kicks her again and hits her as she takes up a plastic chair to defend herself, according to the footage.
What's more, regardless of the fact that there were others nearby, no one stepped forward to assist the woman who was being assaulted viciously.
According to the authorities, Manthesh attacked the woman because of personal hatred over a civil dispute case. He said the lawyer had tortured and harassed him. Both of them are said to have battled in the past.
