A part of the society is criticizing the fact that many parts of the city are battling flood-like conditions but Surya is campaigning for a restaurant in his constituency and eating dosa.
In the 40-second video shared by Congress's national Co-Coordinator of social media Lavanya Ballal, he wrote, 'Video of 5th September in which Tejashwi Surya is enjoying breakfast while Bangalore is drowning. Has he gone to any flood-affected area?' He wrote in another tweet, 'Has anyone talked to Tejashwi Surya and his colleagues? Are they in Bangalore?'

In the video, Surya, national president of Bharatiya Janata Party's Yuva Morcha, is seen eating 'butter masala dosa' and uttapam at a hotel in Padmanabha Nagar and praising the taste and quality of the dishes. He also urged people to come there and enjoy the delicious food.
Many users shared Suriya's video. Former Congress MP Ramya is also involved in this. After this people started trolling Surya.

Aam Aadmi Party spokesperson Prithvi Reddy also shared this video and targeted Tejasvi Surya. He wrote, 'While Rome was burning, Nero was playing the flute.
