Viral video: 'Proud of my son' says Maqsood, father of cop martyred in Baramulla; 'A true patriot'

Mudasir Ahmed Sheikh: Three Pakistani terrorists of Jaish-e-Mohammed were killed by security forces in the Baramulla district of Jammu and Kashmir on Wednesday.

Policeman Mudassir was also martyred in this encounter that took place at Najibhat in the Kreeri area. The father of Mudasir, who gave martyrdom while taking on the terrorists, said that he is proud of his son. He said, "I am proud that due to his (son) sacrifice, 1000 civilians' lives were saved. I'm glad. He gave his life. Will not come back but I am proud. The whole community is bragging. He gave his life while fighting." This statement of the father has been retweeted by the Jammu and Kashmir Police. 

Continuous operation of security forces is going on in Jammu and Kashmir. Security forces have killed 26 foreign terrorists affiliated with Lashkar-e-Taiba and Jaish-e-Mohammed since January. Three Lashkar terrorists were gunned down by security forces in the Kupwara district today, foiling an infiltration attempt.


Inspector-General of Police, Kashmir Zone, Vijay Kumar said that out of 26 foreign terrorists killed this year, 14 belonged to Masood Azhar's organization Jaish while the remaining 12 belonged to Hafiz Mohammad. the organization is from Lashkar. At the same time, two Lashkar terrorists were killed in an encounter on May 13 in Bandipora. 

Both these government employees were allegedly involved in the murder of a Kashmiri Pandit Rahul Bhat. A senior army official had said this month that foreign terrorists have become compelled to walk out of the bill as the number of local terrorists in the Valley has come down.
