After Roe v Wade, the 1973 landmark ruling judgment was recently overturned, which had previously established a constitutional right to privacy and reproductive freedom, the Supreme Court of the United States left it over the individual states to determine the legality of access to reproductive healthcare.

After the Supreme Court’s controversial decision, Justice Clarence Thomas advised in his concurring opinion that the high court “needs to revisit all of this Court’s substantive due process precedents.”

One such landmark judgment of 1965 the judge mentioned was Griswold v Connecticut. This decision protected the liberty o married couples to purchase and utilize the contraceptive based on their will without the government’s restriction.

Some concerned citizens have resorted to taking assertive measures in this regard, like stocking up on the Morning after Pill or getting a vasectomy to prevent pregnancy.
