A video has been doing rounds on social media, in the video, a woman can be seen relaxing in the lawn chair with a book. The woman has allegedly put her house on fire and watches her house on fire while a person was trapped in the house’s basement.

Watch the viral video:

The fire department was called at the home near 1:15 pm, said the Fire Marshal.

As per the witnesses, Gail J. Metwally, 47, was seen setting multiple fires within the home, and then she watched the burning house.

Metwally was arrested after the incident came into the eyes of cops in Elkton and was charged with first and second-degree attempted murder, first-degree arson, first-degree assault, and some other counts, said the Fire Marshal in a statement.

This shocking video was shot by her neighbor Avery Hammond. In a clip of the video, it is seen that the woman was arguing with another person on the porch. And the next thing is that the house is burning and the woman is sitting in the lawn chair.

Fire Marshal told that four people lived at the house, including Metwally and at that time two of them were not there.

The state public defender’s office, representing Metwally did not respond to the comments and Metwally has been held without bond and will go to court on June 2.
