“Virat Kohli is not only the world’s best batsman but also the world’s worst behaved player”, tweeted Naseeruddin Shah

The post seems to be a response to a video in which the cricketer asked a fan to leave the country

The Indian cricket team captain, Virat Kohli was recently in news for his verbal spat with Tim Paine, the Australian team captain during the ongoing test series Down Under. Kohli received criticism back home as well.

“Virat K is not only the world best batsman but also the world worst behaved player. His cricketing brilliance pales beside his arrogance and bad manners. And I have no intention of leaving the country by the way,” veteran actor Naseeruddin Shah wrote on his Facebook account.

The post seems to be a response to a video featuring Virat, who told a fan to leave the country as the fan said that he likes English and Australian batsmen more than the Indian ones. While many slammed the actor for calling Kohli the “worst behaved player”, others defended the cricketer, saying that aggression is very much required to beat the Australians. Many wrote in the favour of the actor as well.

“You cannot win against Aussies without showing aggression,” read one comment.
