The much-awaited India vs Pakistan World Cup 2023 match went underway at the world's largest Narendra Modi stadium on Saturday. The box-officer encounter kickstarted with Team India winning the toss and inviting Pakistan to bat first. Although Pakistan's openers gave a solid start, Mohammed Siraj & Hardik Pandya dismissed both their openers inside 100 runs. However, it was Virat Kohli who stole the limelight when Muhammad Rizwan came to bat in front of over 1 lakh Indian fans in Ahmedabad. 

 

After the downfall of two wickets, Muhammad Rizwan came to bat and he started taking a long time to take his guard. Seeing this, Virat Kohli started to look at his hand indicating he was looking at his watch. The gesture was a dig at Rizwan who was taking longer time than usual after the fall of second wicket during the India vs Pakistan WC 2023 match. 

 

As a result, Virat Kohli trolling Muhammad Rizwan video started spreading like wildfire on social media. 

 

Before this, Team India won the toss and elected to bowl first. Rohit Sharma announced that there will be one change in the squad i.e. Shubman Gill comes in for Ishan Kishan. Shubman Gill missed first two matches of the World Cup 2023 due to dengue. 

 

Winning the toss, Rohit Sharma said, "We will bowl first, cannot get bigger than this, fantastic atmosphere. Sure lot of us are going to experience something really extraordinary. It's a good track, not going to change much, dew could be a big factor and keeping that in mind, we want to bowl first. We want to keep striving for the best, we want to come out there and give our best in every game.
