Dr. Vivek Bindra, motivational speaker & YouTuber, on Saturday, was booked on various charges after his newly-wed wife Yanika's brother filed domestic violence charges against him. Dr. Vivek Bindra who got married on December 8, 2023, was seen arguing with his wife outside the Noida Sector 94 Supernova Society. Later Yanika's brother Vaibhav lodged an FIR against Vivek Bindra and a video of Yanika was also shared where she showcased her wounds allegedly afflicted by the YouTuber. Not only this, Yanika expressed that she is having hearing trouble after a brutal assault by the Bada Business CEO and founder. After the FIR, a team of Noida Police on late Sunday night reached Sector 94 Supernova Society where Vivek Bindra is living.
As a result, fans started to wonder whether the Police team reached the society to arrest Vivek Bindra or not. Well, till now, no confirmation has been made on Vivek Bindra's arrest. However, it is reported that Noida Police reached Vivek Bindra's residence to investigate the matter as the YouTuber is facing serious charges in the FIR.
Reportedly, the Noida police reached his society and examined 17 days-old CCTV footage. Not only this, the Police also talked to the guards present there. After investigating the CCTV, the police reportedly claimed that very important evidence had been found. On Monday afternoon, the family members of Vivek's wife Yanika are reportedly expected to meet the DCP. It is pertinent to mention here that when the Noida Police reached the Supernova Society, Vivek Bindra was not at home. However, it is worth mentioning that the Police have not said anything about the speculation that Vivek Bindra is fleeing.
FIR on Dr. Vivek Bindra
Vivek Bindra has been booked under various sections of the IPC including 323 (voluntarily causing hurt), 504 (Intentional insult), 427 (Mischief causing damage), and 325 (voluntarily causing grievous hurt). Going by the FIR, Vaibhav has alleged that Vivek Bindra locked his sister in a room, hurled abuses and physically assaulted her severely, resulting in injuries all over her body. The incident took place at around 2.30-3.00 AM on 7th December, the day after the day of the wedding. Vaibhav in his FIR has alleged that the fight took place when Yanika tried to intervene in the argument between Bindra and his mother Prabha. After Yanika tried to resolve the matter, Bindra allegedly dragged her into a room, locked her in, and assaulted her causing severe injuries.
