Vladimir Putin Cardiac Arrest: Kremlin gives Russian President's health update

Reports suggested that Vladimir Putin suffered cardiac arrest and he was found lying unconscious on the floor of his bedroom by his security guards.

On Tuesday, global media went berserk after a Russian Telegram news channel run by a former Kremlin member stated that President Vladimir Putin suffered from cardiac arrest on Sunday. Reports suggested that Vladimir Putin was found lying unconscious on the floor of his bedroom by his security guards who called emergency services as soon as possible and kept him in ICU. While a few believed that Vladimir Putin cardiac arrest reports might be fake, a section of people believed after multiple reports suggested that the Russian President is not well health-wise. 

 

Now, the Kremlin has finally addressed Putin's cardiac arrest reports. Not only this, Vladimir Putin's health update was also provided by Kremlin in their official statement. Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov was quoted saying, "Everything is fine with him, this is absolutely another fake." Peskov laughed in reply to a further question about body doubles, and denied that Putin had any. "This belongs to the category of absurd information hoaxes that a whole series of media discuss with enviable tenacity. This evokes nothing but a smile," said Peskov.

 

What did Vladimir Putin's cardiac arrest report say?

 

Reports stated that Putin was found lying on his bedroom floor at around 9 pm, alongside an overturned table with food and drinks by his security officers.  The Channel was quoted saying, "Probably, when the president fell, he hit the table and dishes and knocked them onto the floor, which caused the noise. Putin convulsively arched while lying on the floor, rolling his eyes. The doctors who were on duty at the residence and located in one of the adjacent rooms were immediately called."

 

The Russian channel further stated that Russian President Putin was immediately moved to a specially equipped room in his residence where doctors performed resuscitation on him before taking him to a special intensive care facility located within his official residence. "Help was provided on time, the heart was started and Putin regained consciousness," stated the report.
