In a welcoming move by one of the biggest production houses of India, Yash Raj Films on Friday launched the YRF Casting App so that youth aspiring to become actors or actresses can give online auditions. Now those who dream of being launched or acting in YRF movies can showcase their talent from their hometown by participating in online auditions. Apart from being transparent, the YRF Casting App also cracks down on the conspiracy theories that big production houses are involved in favoritism and nepotism. What is the YRF Casting App?
As per the official release, the YRF Casting App can be used by acting aspirants from across the world to get information about casting calls & also submit their auditions through this App. The official release further suggests that the YRF Casting App will enable aspirants to register their profile details in the App itself, and will be able to soon get information about all the upcoming auditions related to theatrical movies & streaming projects that Yash Raj Films will greenlight. The App will create an online destination for aspirants to submit their auditions for these projects directly to YRF in the near future.
Shanoo Sharma is in-charge of selecting and grooming people to be launched as leads in YRF projects, as well as finalising actors for other primary or secondary roles through this app.
