In the latest development, Waris Punjab De Chief Amritpal Singh has reached Ajnala to carry out the protest. He is all set to protest outside the Ajnala Police Station and to make sure that there is no mishappening during the protest, more than 600 police personnel have been deployed in the whole area.
For the unversed, Amritpal Singh and his followers decided to stage a protest outside the Ajnala Police station to raise voice against the arrest of his close aid Lovepreet Singh Toofan. A few days back Ajnala Police arrested two members of his group members namely Lovepreet Singh Toofan and Sandhu from their home over the kidnapping case. A case was also registered against Amritpal and his members for kidnapping and assaulting a person.
Prior to Amritpal Singh, his followers reached Ajnala at around 11 am to support him in the protest. During that various supporters were held by the police deployed. After reaching Ajnala, Amritpal Singh’s close aid stated that they will carry out a peaceful protest and have no intention to harm anyone.
