Waris Punjab De Chief Amritpal Singh’s Instagram account suspended by Indian government

Indian government has already banned his Twitter account as his remarks were creating a state of unrest in Punjab

As per the latest information received Waris Punjab De Chief Amritpal Singh’s Instagram account was suspended by the Indian government. Reportedly, Amritpal Singh’s account was a verified one earlier but now when you search for his name a ‘user not found’ message pops up. Till now the reason for ban on his account has not been cleared.

Waris Punjab De Chief Amritpal Singh’s Twitter account was also banned 2 months back by the Indian government as his remarks were creating a state of unrest in the country, especially Punjab. Amritpal Singh somehow always grapples the headlines because of his pro-Khalistan remarks.

Recently, Amritpal Singh was again in the headlines because of an incident that took place in Jalandhar. Reportedly, Amritpal Singh along with his supporters reached Model Town Gurudwara to seek blessings and told the pathis there to remove all chairs and sofas kept for senior citizens. On being refused to do so, they set all the chairs, benches and sofas placed inside Gurudwara on fire.

On September 29, 2022, Khalistani-supporter, 29-year-old Amritpal Singh became the President of 'Waris Punjab De'- an organization founded by late Punjabi actor Deep Sidhu that aimed to protect the rights of Punjab and raise social issues.
