From rags to riches, Akshay Kumar is a fantastic example. The actor had to fight his way to the top of the Hindi film industry. During a discussion program, however, the ‘Khiladi' actor was mortified to view his first screen test, in which he displayed his muscles.

When host Farooq Shaikh showed Akshay a taste of his screen test on chat show "Jeena Isi Ka Naam Hai," he was amusingly embarrassed about it and pointed out his long hair in old footage that has been posted online again. When Farooq and Akshay saw the latter pract

Akshay also mentioned his passion for martial arts during the discussion show. He may have started off as an action hero, but the actor has come a long way since the late 1980s.

Akshay began his career in 1987 and had his first huge breakthrough in 1992 with the suspense thriller Khiladi. He has provided the Bollywood business countless blockbusters, including Mohra, Hera Pheri, Singh is King, Rowdy Rathore, and Mission Mangal, among others, in which he has demonstrated his charisma in action, comedy, romance, biopics, and nearly every genre.

In his more than 30 years in Indian cinema, he has played the toughest roles and broken all records.

The much-loved actor is currently awaiting the release of the action film Sooryavanshi, which also stars Katrina Kaif and has been delayed twice owing to Covid-19. Last year, the Rohit Shetty-directed film was slated to hit theatres on March 24, but the pandemic put the release date back indefinitely. The coronavirus's second wave postponed the new release date of April 30 this year once more.

But, much to the delight of his fans, Akshay Kumar has a slew of films lined up for 2021. This year's releases include the spy thriller "Bell Bottom," starring Vaani Kapoor and Huma Qureshi, and the love romance "Atrangi Re," starring Dhanush and Sara Ali Khan. He'll also star alongside newcomer Manushi Chhillar in the historical drama "Prithviraj."
