Farmers call to "Delhi chalo" has again gainedmomentum because tomorrow is tractor parade that coincides with the Republicday, January 26.

One of the farmers, Manjeet Singh Gill came from VillageGhall kalan, Moga. He has brought a statue of two cows. He claims to have madeit with the help from his friends.

The farmer who have created the statue said they are farmersfirst then artists. When True Scoop News asked why he created this statue, hesaid, "When the farmers protest started, I thought the BJP had promised toimplement Swaminathan report but when the party came into power, theyimplemented these black laws. So, we prepared the statue of Dr. Swaminathan,pair of bulls and a farmer."

He added that in the art, Dr Swaminathan could be seenasking the farmer to protest until government implements the report that heprepared after a lot of hard work. This was the theme of the art. Gill saidthey prepared the statue in one month with the help of his brother.

The farmer said now it depends upon the unions as to howthey would like to take that statue to the Republic day parade. When asked abouthow much money was spent while making the statue, the farmer said, we didn'tkeep record of the money.
