On Sunday, Punjab's first day of voting brings unpleasant news for actor Sonu Sood. According to Moga District PRO Pradbhdeep Singh, Sood's automobile was seized by state police and he was sent home.
The actor was apprehended as he attempted to enter a polling station. Sood has also been advised by the district government not to leave his house.

Sood defended his actions, claiming that he went to the booth after hearing that money was "being distributed at several booths."
He arrived at the booth to check the reality. ”It is our duty to go check and ensure fair elections. That’s why we had gone out.”
Sonu also stated, ”We got to know of threat calls at various booths by the opposition, especially the people of Akali Dal.”
