
In a major development, the World's most arrested man from Kentucky- Henry Earl died at the age of 74. As per US media reports, Henry Earl was arrested 1300 times by the US authorities in his lifetime. Henry was buried at Owenton Cemetery Thursday afternoon, with workers from the Owenton Healthcare and Rehabilitation Facility in attendance, where he spent the final years of his life. Earl reportedly had no family that could be contacted to attend the ceremony. It is believed that Henry Earl died due to age-related complications.
Ginny Ramsey, founder of Lexington’s Catholic Action Center, who knew him for decades was quoted by US media portals saying, "He was a character, he had a wonderful sense of humor."
As per reports, Henry was busted roughly 1,300 times — mostly for alcohol-related offenses . Henry Earl's arrests were started to be documented when the Division of Community Corrections of Lexington Fayette Urban County Government began digitally noting arrests in 1992. Another portal reported that Henry Earl was arrested more than 1,500 times over five decades.
Earl told the Herald-Leader he began drinking after his adopted mother died when he was 18 years old. He hadn’t worked a real job since he was employed at a motel as a busboy in 1969. However, he was fired from there when he was caught drunk during work. Henry Earl's first arrest came in Fayette County in July 1970 for carrying a concealed weapon when he was 20 years old. Since then, he spent more than 6,000 days in jail.
Due to his record number of arrests, Henry Earl was also invited to the famous 'Jimmy Kimmel Live' in 200. However, Henry was not able to attend in person because he was locked up at the time.
