Kevin Spacey, 64, was rushed to hospital fearing a heart attack after his arm went 'lifeless' while he was attending the 2023 Tashkent International Film Festival. He underwent an MRI scan after the scare. As per reports, Spacey started feeling unwell while touring the Afrasiyab Museum in the ancient Silk Road city of Samarkand - and felt his "entire left arm go numb for about eight seconds". As a result, the Oscar-winning actor was taken to the Innova Diagnostic Clinic in the city to undergo a series of tests - including an MRI scan. It was feared that Spacey could have suffered a heart attack, but doctors later gave him the all-clear.
A report quoted a source who informed, "He was treated professionally by doctors and staff and found to have no problem with his heart.”
It is pertinent to mention here that Spacey after consulting the doctors, returned to the stage and informed everyone that he is feeling well now. "It made me really take a moment and think about how fragile life is - for all of us," said Spacey during his address. Kevin Spacey won Oscars for his roles in The Usual Suspects and American Beauty. He gave a speech at the festival's closing ceremony on Monday.
