Former UFC fighter Mark Coleman has been getting praise from all around the world ever since he pulled out a heroic act that sent him to a hospital bed. Mark Coleman is currently fighting for his life after helping his parents escape from a house fire in Ohio. After pulling out the heroic, Mark Coleman suffered devastating injuries and therefore the UFC Hall of Famer was airlifted and rushed to a hospital near his home in Fremont, Ohio. Now, the question arises what happened to Mark Coleman and how did he end up in hospital?

 

What happened to Mark Coleman?

 

Mark Coleman, 59, was awake during the night by a fire at his parents' house and immediately moved to get his mother, father, and dog out of the family home. The former UFC fighter reportedly managed to save his parents from the fire but sustained heavy smoke inhalation during the process. After saving his mother and father, Mark went inside the burning house to save the dog. However, the UFC Hall of Famer could not save his dog 'Hammer' named after his UFC moniker.

The UFC fighter's daughter Morgan Coleman took to her Instagran and narrated the ordeal by sharing her picture with her father. She wrote, "As many know, our dad was involved in a house fire early this morning along with his parents and beloved dog, hammer. He managed to carry both of his parents out of the house but despite his best efforts was not able to save hammer. He was life-flighted to the hospital where he is currently battling for his life after this heroic act...



Our father has always been our hero and means the world to us. He is and always will be a fighter. The strongest snd bravest man I know. Please continue to pray for him and our family during this extremely difficult time. We will miss our sweet hammer so deeply.
Thank you for all the love and support. Hammer house for life."

As per US media reports, the fire department in Fremont, Ohio responded to calls about the massive inferno shortly after 4 a.m. on Tuesday. The fire reportedly began in the kitchen due to unknown reasons.
