The Hindi and Punjabi film industry on Saturday well left shell-shocked after it was revealed that actor Mukul Dev died at the age of 54. Mukul Dev had worked in a plethora of hit Bollywood movies, including Son of Sardaar, Jai Ho, R Rajkumar, etc. Actress Deepshikha Nagpal, a close friend, confirmed the news via social media. She shared an old photograph with Mukul Dev on Instagram Stories with the message, "Can't believe this. RIP." As soon as Mukul Dev's demise was confirmed, Bollywood extended its condolences. Many fans started to wonder what happened to Mukul Dev or what is Mukul Dev Death Reason or Cause of Death?
What happened to Mukul Dev?
Mukul Dev's cause of death has not been revealed as of now. As per NDTV, a statement from his family or close associates is awaited. Mukul Dev was the younger brother of actor Rahul Dev. Mukul's last Instagram post was a video in which clouds were seen. Mukul had shared the video with the caption, "And if your head explodes with dark forebodings too.... I'll see you on the dark side of the moon. #crosscountry."
As per Telangana Today, Mukul Dev was born in New Delhi into a Punjabi family with roots in a village near Jalandhar. His father Hari Dev, an assistant commissioner of police, and was the one who introduced him to Afghan culture. His father could speak Pashto and Persian. An early exposure to the world of entertainment for the actor was when in class 8 he got his first pay cheque when he impersonated Michael Jackson for a dance show organized by Doordarshan. The actor was also a trained pilot from the Indira Gandhi Rashtriya Uran Akademi.
Mukul was well known to the Punjabi community for his role in the Shareek movie.
