Shane Warne Demise: Thailand Police has issued a statement regarding the death of Australia's great spinner Shane Warne. The statement said that four of Warne's friends tried their best to save his life for 20 minutes. But the legendary spinner lost the battle of life.

It was reported by Diggingsports that Friday, March 4, Warne died due to a heart attack. The legendary spinner left the world at the age of just 52. The sports world is shocked by the sudden demise of Warne. Shane Warne was staying with his friends in the villa of Koh Samui Resort in Thailand. At five o'clock in the evening, a friend of his tried to wake Warne to have food. But he didn't get up. 

After this his friends gave CPR to Warne himself for 20 minutes. Did not make any difference. An ambulance was then called and Warne was taken to the Thai International Hospital. Where doctors declared him brought dead.

Confirming the news, a senior Thailand police officer said in his statement

Police received the report of Shane Warne's death at Thai International Hospital. We went there. Where it was revealed that Warne was with his four friends. He died in the room of the villa. Everyone in the villa was sleeping in different rooms since noon. One of his friends tried to wake him up for dinner at five o'clock in the evening. But he didn't get up.  

After this, the four friends gave Warne CPR for about 20 minutes before the arrival of the ambulance. The doctors declared Shane Warne brought dead at 6.53 pm. After this the police went to the hotel and searched the room there. We didn't find anything there. Warne's body was then sent to Koh Samui Hospital for post-mortem.


However the cricket world has suffered a lot due to the sudden demise of Shane Warne. Shane Warne is considered one of the great spinners. In his career, the Australian legend made and broke many big records.

Warne played 145 Tests for Australia and took 708 wickets at an average of 25.41. Apart from this, he took 293 wickets in 194 ODIs. Warne also performed brilliantly with the bat in his career. He has 3,154 runs in his name in Tests with 12 half-centuries. At the same time, Warne scored more than 1,000 runs in ODIs as well.

Shane Warne was considered Australia's biggest match winner. He played a big role behind Australia's victory in the 1999 World Cup final. He took 4 wickets in that match. It was due to Warne's bowling that Australia bundled out Pakistan's team for 132 runs. Chasing such a small target was very easy for Australia. Warne was awarded man of the match.
