As per reports, Dr. Priya died on October 31 from a heart attack. As mentioned above, the 35-year-old actress underwent a regular pregnancy check-up at the hospital shortly before suffering a fatal heart attack. Fortunately, doctors managed to save the newborn baby and he has been put in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU).
Malayalam actor Kishor Satya confirmed Dr. Priya's death and wrote, "Yet another unexpected death in the Malayalam TV industry...Dr. Priya has passed away due to a heart attack...She was eight months pregnant...May her soul rest in peace and god gives her family the courage to survive this tragic loss."
Apart from being a famous face of the Malayalam film industry, she was also a doctor by profession.
