In a sad development, veteran Bollywood actor Amitabh Bachchan suffered injury during a shooting in Hyderabad for his Project K. The actor confirmed news of his injury through his blog and also shared the health update. He told his fans that the shoot has come to a halt and he is currently in Mumbai, taking rest.
Amitabh Bachchan on Monday through his blog told his fans that during the shoot of Project K he suffered rib injury and muscle tear. Amitabh Bachchan wrote, that during shoot of Project K he injured himself. His rib cartilage broke and there is also a muscle tear near the ribs. He further added that he took treatment at AIG Hospital in Hyderabad and on the advice of doctors is back home. Amitabh Bachchan added that shoot for Project K has been put on halt and will restart as soon as he gets fit & fine. Apart from this, he also requested his fans coming to Jalsa to not be there as he won’t be able to meet and greet them. He assured his fan that although the injury is painful but he will soon heal and be back for shooting.
The actor wrote, “In Hyderabad at the shoot for Project K, during an action shot, I have got injured .. rib cartilage popped broke and muscle tear to the right rib cage .. canceled shoot .. did Doctor consult and scan by CT at the AIG Hospital in Hyderabad and flown back home .. strapping has been done and rest been advocated .. yes painful .. on movement and breathing .. will take some weeks they say before some normalisation will occur .. some medication is on also for pain…So all work that was to be done has been suspended and canceled dropped postponed for the moment until healing occurs ..I rest at Jalsa and am mobile a bit for all the essential activities .. but yes in rest and generally lying around ..It shall be difficult or let me say .. I shall be unable to meet, the well-wishers at Jalsa Gate this evening .. so do not come .. and do inform as much as you can to those that intend coming ..All else is well ..”
Bollywood actor Amitabh Bachchan had been shooting for Project K which also stars Deepika Padukone and Prabhas. Apart from Project K, Amitabh Bachchan will next be seen in The Intern.
