On Friday, fans went into shock after Bollywood veteran actress Kajol deleted all her social media posts announcing that she is taking a break from social media, Deleting all her Instagram posts, Kajol shared a cryptic post saying that she is facing the toughest trials of her life and therefore she is leaving social media. Following that fans started to send their best wishes to the actress. Not only this, but fans also expressed their worry by saying that 'What happened to Kajol?' on social media. Actress Gauhar Khan commented on Kajol's comment section and sent her 'prayers'. One user wrote, "Why?? What happened?? Can anyone please tell??" Another user wrote, "I don't know what happened that made you make such a decision, but know that we, the fans, love you and we miss your captions and beautiful posts, We wish you the best". After hours of asking and speculation, Kajol finally dropped a post.

It seemed like Kajol's cryptic post was nothing but a promotional stunt. Kajol released the officer poster video of her upcoming courtroom drama series named 'The Trial, the harder you come back'. Kajol's upcoming courtroom drama's trailer will be released on June 12 and it will be a Hotstar Specials project. Apart from Kajol, actors like Kubra Sait, Alyy Khan, Jisshu U Sengupta, and more will be seeing in the upcoming series The Trail.
