In a heartbreaking development, well-celebrated Punjabi singer Surinder Shinda on Wednesday died after being on ventilators for the past many days. Surinder Shinda's death has indeed saddened the Punjabi music and film industry as the 64-year-old was among the most loved singers in the country. As per reports, Surinder Shinda was admitted to DMC Hospital in Ludhiana where he breathed his last breath after almost a month. Surinder Shinda passed away due to prolonged illness. As per reports, DMCH officials stated that the Punjabi singer was admitted in the pulmonary care ward of the hospital more than a week ago and was on ventilator support. To be precise, Surinder Shinda died of multiple organ failure at the hospital at 7.30am on Wednesday.

Surinder Shinda in his illustrious singing career gave hits like 'jatt jeonah morh', 'putt jattan de', 'truck bnilliya', 'balbiro bhabhi 'and 'Kaher Singh di mout'. Reports further suggest that Surinder Shinda passed away due to prolonged illness. Apart from being a singer, Surinder Shinda was also an actor who appeared in Punjabi movies like ‘Putt Jattan De’ and ‘Ucha Dar Babe Nanak Da’. Surinder Shinda's real name was Surinder Pal Dhammi. The later Punjabi Singer & actor is survived by his son named Maninder Shinda and hailed from Choti Ayali village in Ludhiana.
