The Indian e-commerce giant Flipkart has landed in a fresh controversy post its grand sale. Users from different pockets of the country are complaining of order cancellation, receiving cheap products, detergent soaps in place of a laptop, and numerous cases of canceling ordered iPhone after it goes on sale following a heavy price drop.

All these cases were reported in the backdrop of its recently concluded company’s ‘big billion days sale,’ the cases came to light after users started posting their inconvenient shopping experiences during the sale.

Netizens lashed out at the company with #FlipkartDoglaHai on Twitter. The customer’s experience turned nasty after they lodged a separate series of complaints against the customer executive for not responding to the queries.

In a similar incident month before the sale went live Gujarat Police’s cyber division of Anand district summoned the Flipkart officials on August 17th in response to the case after a scam came to light which collectively duped the customers registered with the company of 600 mobile phones.

Months later nothing seems to have stabilized after the company’s action as the scam prevails at an alarming rate. In some cases, the company sorted to block the accounts of its users, while many others complained about delayed delivery from the e-commerce giants.

On the business front, the company made a remarkable stride some reports citing Flipkart showed that it recorded over 1 billion customer visits during the festive days and 35 million app downloads in the run-up to the Big Billion Days sale.

There were 4 million first-time customers this time, and the platform sold 3 sarees and 2 Kurtis every second. While several media houses tried to get a response from the company officials who responded on the matter by acknowledging the prevalent problem on the customer’s end.

The company said, "With regard to the concerns raised, we investigate each case brought to our attention and take appropriate action, which may include a refund or exchange based on the terms of the purchase.”

Owing to the matter prevailing, the company addressed the grievance in the cases about false delivery of products it said, “Where there is a concern about quality or wrongly delivered items, we also take action against any errant party."

"We are mindful that customers may be disappointed due to cancellations by sellers due to the high demand for products that may go out of stock. On rare occasions, some accounts may be blocked to safeguard and protect the larger interests of all customers."

Above that Flipkart also issued an advisory to its millions of customers asking them to pay due attention to maintaining high-grade security by keeping their account credentials safe in order to evade any possible case of being duped by the fraudster.
